A street for coming together as a neighbourhood
The original idea of the Wohnstraße, was so create a street where you can live. A street where children can play on the road and where the local residents can meet outside and use the space for any activities. Unfortunately only a few people know about the possibilities and potentials of these streets. With the project Wohnzimmerstraße we want to show, that the Wohnstraßen in Vienna can be used differently! If necessary infrastructure is provided and awareness is raised, the Wohnstraße can transform into a Wohnzimmerstraße, and become a place of living.
