The urban public space is in constant tension in the relationship between man, city buildings, nature, and animals.
The covid-19 sharpened the tension between spaces and between needs and promoted a discussion about the common meeting point. The interior and the exterior changed function and shape during the pandemic, and different and creative ways were found to meet some of the needs, alongside a lack in fulfilling other needs.Belonging groups of people were reduced to smaller, more internal units.Following the pandemic, the use of public and private spaces has changed, fundamental questions have arisen regarding the need for certain meeting points and hence the question of their future existence.
A "living city" is a common term in looking at the connections between urban buildings and the society within the urban landscape. A common perception is that the way to build a living city is in the informal encounters, which allow a meeting place for enjoyment, creativity and more, thus producing a closer sense of community, among friends and strangers as well.
The purpose of the object is to offer such a meeting place, where there are various options for a meeting. In response to objective needs that have arisen during covid-19, such as the lack of areas that can be suitable for outdoor learning, a place that can allow an intimate and confined atmosphere for small outdoor performances as well as allow space for a diverse neighborhood meetings. A meeting place for a conversation, play and creativity. A place to connect.

Variations – can be constructed with black board/ other neighborhood messages board/ round shelves around the stem for books exchange and more options with connection with neighborhood needs.

Materials – stem is made from long pieces of wood. Shading is fabric or net, connected to top part of stem branches. Seating area pebbles can be made from: 1. Cement casting, supported with iron nails. Or 2. Plywood. Graded and separated with wooden cubes.
