The new normal in restaurants is a more personal service
Following the Corona crisis, many restrictions have entered our lives, including the closure of restaurants without the possibility of sitting inside. In this project I chose to deal with the issue of restaurants and find a solution to the problem of sitting in restaurants. In a situation where it is not possible to sit inside the restaurant, and in places where it is possible to sit outside the restaurant in an open area there is not enough space. I want to find a solution to this problem and allow people to continue to enjoy restaurants even while in Corona.
In the current situation, after a survey, viewing and research in Tel Aviv and in my living environment, I discovered that most of the people are sitting in makeshift corners on the street in the area of the restaurant from which they ordered.
The project is located in my residential area in Givat Shmuel, adjacent to the shopping and catering centers where there are many restaurants and cafes that were damaged following the Corona crisis and made changes in the way they operate so that they can continue to exist. The complex is divided into 4 areas by color - couples, families, youth and adults.
By intervening in the areas adjacent to these centers and creating separate and enclosed spaces with different types of seating and different types of complexes that will be located in the area, it will be possible to solve the restaurant problem and return to routine
