What if we use the yet unused spaces of our city? The rapid spread of the COVID-19 virus caused governments worldwide to close art and cultural institutions. These regulations affected museums and galleries as well as theatres and cinemas. The idea “Pop-Up cinema” illustrates that empty building lots could easily be transformed into open-air cinemas. Fire break walls can serve as screens to projection on. Circular blankets not only provide seating but also mark the needed distance to other visitors.
