The foundation of human life is the Sun Light. Surprising us each morning, blinding us at noon, and caressing us in the evening. But not at night. At night the artificial light allows us to continue our activities: the streetlights, with their uniform rhythm, anonymous and cold, provide us with security.
During Corona pandemic time, people needed to be isolated and confined.The project suggests using a confined structure that gives shade on day time and lighting at night. A lamp shade construction covered with cloth is anchored to the lighting pole and provides shade on day and light on night.
A public space, intimate and open to everyone, enables a direct connection with the street, but separated and protected, in which one can host guests like in a living room, play bridge as in a club and eat as in a restaurant, together with the whole family.
